Dealer Profile: Gullwing Motor Cars

The Gullwing Motor Cars showroom doesn’t rely on window dressing. They simply offer a classic for nearly every budget and interest. And their metro New York location makes it easy to fly in and drive home.

Looking for a project starter costing less than $10,000 or so? They can help, and they have a particular MGA coupe that caught our eye.

Have a bit more to spend? They also carry beautiful examples of blue-chip classics, with recent offerings including ’60s Ferraris, a Porsche 356 cabriolet, and an Aston Martin DB2/4. True to their name, they also have a Gullwing Benz–unrestored, we should add– as well as an open-top version.

Then there’s the unusual–you know, the cars that can steal a show no matter what their cost. Gullwing has those in spades: a 1959 Autobianchi Bianchina, 1934 BSA three-wheeler, 1965 Jensen CV8, 1975 Peugeot 504, 1986 Aston Martin Lagonda, 1965 Studebaker Wagonaire Daytona and so many more.

They don’t shy away from newer classics, either. Looking for a late-model Ferrari, Bentley or Mercedes-Benz? They can help there as well.

Other Services: Gullwing is always looking to turn that classic into cash as well.

Hot Buy: Last time we checked they were offering a nice, driverlevel 1974 Triumph TR6 for $16,750–green with tan leather. According to the Hagery guide, that price is quite fair.
