So, im changing bent and mangled E36 M3 on the 2000 miata. But i cant get the freaking axle out of the hub. Ive broken 2 3 jaw pullers now.

Is there a trick or something im missing? Ive got the nut, rotor, etc all off.....

Penetrating oil. Sometimes, they just don't come out.

In reply to Keith Tanner:

If i pull the inner end and toss it in the shop press, what am i looking at?

You're looking at a possible way to get it out. I'm not sure I understand the question.

Got it.

The question was more along the lines of leakage/clips/etc. Just not well worded.

Axle popped out of the differential easily enough, and took heating/beating/all rhe pressure from my 20 ton shop press to finally come out.

On the reassembly side now.

Woo! Victory!

We did not always succeed when we had our salvage operation.

I found a 10lb sledge and a strategic pile of wooden blocks was the only thing that worked. Glad you got it broken loose.
