Regarding performance, yes the Apache is renown for not having it. I was once in a 172 next to one, and out climbing it!
The Tripacer is really not that bad compared to its contemporaries (non of which are rockets) when its a tail dragger, but adding all the weight and drag of a nose wheel...

Apaches are good training airplanes. With only 150 hp per engine and one engine shut down it will maintain altitude if you do everything perfectly.
I am certain that this one will not maintain altitude with one engine shut down

Back in the '80s, I was given the keys to a Apache and told to ferry it from NC to GA for a customer. Our chief pilot's parting words to me were "Remember, if you lose an engine, the other one will take to directly to the scene of the crash."
