The only thing that's funny about that is that his name tag says "MAHK".

Wonder how many people they had to look at before they found the five or six "real people". "Sorry, too short, next"; "Sorry, too fat, next"; "Sorry, too old, next"....

You divide the distance by the difference in speed (you have to convert to the same units in this example).
170.2 ft / ((52-27)mph * (1.366 ft/s / 1 mph))

What?

Maybe this is just wishful thinking given how annoying I think the commercials are but they could be headed towards each other making it 1.47 seconds.

Sorry but I checked out when they had a guy on his knees kissing a bumper saying “come home with me”…creepy, un-relatable, awkward, lame, etc, etc, etc..

I have another automotive commercial grievance. The Hyundai Ioniq commercials.

Make an actor acknowledge that common people are still scared of batteries and public perception about driving hybrids! Put a guy with a hard hat driving home from a construction site in there. Yeah that's right burly men we are talking to you!

"The world didn't need a new hybrid, it needed a better one."

So instead of improving their existing hybrids and making a better one, they made a new one. Literally the opposite of what they just said the world "needed".
