With highs averaging around freezing, it's time for me to ask another sort of common sense question.
I havea lot more tools and stuff this winter than I have in a long time and most of it lives in my car port with the miata.
I think I got all the stuff that needs to stay away from cold brought in; aerosols, zip ties, rubber anything, motor oil.
Is there anything I forgetting or that should come inside?
Currently I do have my tools still out there, protected from rain and snow, but not cold. I'm assuming anything with a rubber belt should come inside if I don't want to replace the belt, but I'm not sure about things like the plasma cutter or the welder.
So what do you bring in for winter versus leave out?

My detached garage in chicago that I have been using for a few years gets brutally cold, just like the outside. I don't bring any tools in the house for winter. or rubber. or aerosols. or oil (if your oil freezes in winter I would think twice about putting it in your cars...).
I did have some car wash soap freeze once.
I think if it's dry, it's fine.
I bring my rechargeable batteries in is about it. Tomorrow night should be 9° here.
I don't bring anything in... I got an insulated garage in minnesota... the coldest it will get in the garage is 10 degrees(when it's -20) outside.. So it's not really that cold.
I use to run a road service truck and the only thing we would store inside was battery's and one air grinder as it did not like the cold. Other that those items everything else lived on the truck.
I have a non heated non insulated garage in ohio and the only thing i bring inside is paint.
