<strong>BRASELTON, Georgia</strong>—The <em>Classic Motorsports</em> Mitty returns to Road Atlanta April 26-28, 2013. Sanctioned by the Historic Sportscar Racing Association, the 37th Mitty will bring together cars ranging from 1950s classics to current models.<br />
<br />
If you have not gotten your <a href="http://mittyeventtickets.com/Mitty-Tickets.html">tickets</a> for The Speedfest at the <em>Classic Motorsports</em> Mitty presented by <a href="http://www.mazdausa.com">Mazda</a>, the oldest and largest historic car event on the East Coast, we urge you to do so now. While the Mitty is, of course, a vintage racing event, there is a lot more going on aside from the on-track action.<br />

Saturday’s noon parade laps will be reserved for MG and Classic Mini drivers.<br />

No classic sportscar weekend is complete without beer and conversation! <strong>Don't Forget the Parties</strong><br />
As always, we have our traditional Mitty parties on-site. A newcomer this year, <a href="https://www.hagerty.com/">Hagerty Insurance</a>, will be hosting a driver welcome party Thursday evening for all competitors at this year’s Mitty.<br />

This is <a href="http://www.mazdausa.com">Mazda</a>’s way of saying thanks to Mazda owners for their loyalty: Mazda and SafeRacer are hosting this shindig. You can meet the magazine staff, Mazda executives and fellow Mazda owners. All you need to enter is a Mazda key. The party takes place in the <em>Classic Motorsports</em> tent, located at the top of the hill in the infield.<br />

Make sure to stay for the final party of the weekend, our Saturday Night <em>Classic Motorsports</em> Mitty FanFest, presented by <a href="http://www.ebay.com/motors">eBay Motors</a>, and open to all attendees. It includes a light dinner followed by a Q-and-A with Grand Marshal David Hobbs. Master of ceremonies will be Amelia Island Coucours founder Bill Warner. After the Q-and-A, stick around for a concert by the Paul Reed Smith house band. Their lineup includes some great musicians. It’s a must-attend.<br />

Show off your MegaSquirt-powered monster and discuss setups with the <a href="http://www.diyautotune.com/">DIY Autotune</a> staff. They will have a dyno on-site so you can see if your car really has the power you’ve been boasting.<br />

<strong><em>Classic Motorsports</em>’s Project Car Corral</strong><br />
See all your favorite <em>Grassroots Motorsports</em> and <em>Classic Motorsports </em>project cars on display. The editors who built them will be on hand to discuss the machines and help you with your project car questions.<br />
