Classic Motorsports Car Catcher: GSM Dart

Date Nov 15, 2017

Written by Ed Higginbotham

This 1959 GSM Dart is more than just a pretty face. It’s been raced since new, just left the Peterson Automotive Museum and supposedly was once piloted by Formula One driver Ernest Pieterse. British Sports Cars is selling it for $35,000.

Bit of a disconnect on this part of the report "a vast improvement over the Coventry Climax Ford Anglia that you'll typically find installed."  Should have a issing 'or' in there as the Climax and Ford are two different engines.

A couple of these came to BC and raced in the Pacific Northwest in the old days and I think one is still in this area. Good alternatives to Elva Couriers etc, but very rare anywhere.
