Looking Back at Monterey 2014

This year we again went behind the scenes, including a trip through Russo and Steele's offerings.
Although for the true excitement, you need to visit their auction when the cars cross the block.
Why we love Monterey: You just never know what you're going to see.
Really, you don't, especially at the numerous get-togethers and dinners hosted by many vendors throughout the week.
And the weekend's jewel, of course, takes place down at Pebble Beach.

Our trip to Monterey could not have gone better.

We had a great time meeting all of those who took advantage of our auction tours. This year, we were able to give readers behind the scenes looks at the offerings of the Bonhams, RM and Russo and Steele auctions. Although, for the true excitement, you need to visit their auction when the cars cross the block.

One of the things we love about Monterey is that you never know what you will see. Really, you don’t, especially at the numerous get-togethers and dinners hosted by many vendors throughout the week.

The action-packed Monterey week is wrapped up by the crown jewel of concours events, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Every year, the nation’s greatest works of automotive art congregate on the eighteenth fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links. There is no better way to sum up the auction week experience.
