Tickets Now Available for the 2018 Classic Motorsports Mitty Presented by Hagerty

The 2018 Classic Motorsports Mitty Presented by Hagerty takes over Road Atlanta again April 27-29. The Mitty is, at its heart, a celebration of motorsports—its past, its present, its future. It’s a chance to see some of history’s finest racing machines alongside today’s heroes.

The featured marque this year will be Nissan. It’s a brand that was around back in the day, dominated motorsports through the ’80s, and is a staple of today’s scene. So if you own a Nissan or Datsun, join in the celebration and bring it out to the Mitty.

Tickets are available now. Purchase them here.

This event could not happen without the support of our partners: Hagerty, BFGoodrich, Nissan, Covercraft, G-Force, Koni, Lucas Oil, and BBS.

Ed,

We are trying to build my 240Z prior to The Mitty.  Not sure we'll have it done, but we are gonna try.  I tried to figure how to add a photo here, but I'm not computer savvy enough to make that happen.  I have a few photos of it in my "garage" on the Grassroots side.  Hope to see you all out there.

So, then, if a guy were trying to figure out all the details of a trip to the Mitty, where might hotel and airport and car rental and such information come from?

I presume Atlanta airport.  I presume get on the interstate.  I presume there are hotels nearby.

Advice?

Google will show you where the hotels are. You'll be outside Atlanta in Braselton. If you stay at the Best Western Braselton Inn (probably the closest and cheapest), ask for a room on the side away from the interstate.

I'll be there with two Miatas, two turbochargers and one supercharger.

What Keith said------  fly into the Atlanta airport, (plenty of rental cars there) and head North.   Road Atlanta is about an hour North of ATL, nestled in between two main highways.  There are plenty of decent hotels within a 20 minute drive of the track.  Our staff stays in Flowery Branch, right off the highway.

If you are feeling fancy---- there is always the Chateau Elan--- which is the closest hotel to the track.  It's a high-end resort, and priced accordingly.

I should check this place out, too.  Long lost relative, I presume.
