West Coast Vintage Car Festival

This year's seminar will feature some of the Can-Am era's greats.

The twenty-second annual Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival will host one of its popular seminars for the third year. This year, the panel will focus on the infamous Can-Am series, headed by living legends such as Don Nichols, founder of Shadow Cars, and driver, George Follmer. The free seminar will take place at the Drivers’ Lounge at Sonoma Raceway on Saturday, May 17, at 10:30 a.m. and is open to event ticket holders and participants. Tickets to the Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival are $30 each day (Saturday and Sunday). Children 12 and under will be admitted free and students ages 13-20 are $10 each day.

The event is more than just a car festival, it is also a celebration of fine wines. After the track festivities, the cars will parade to the Plaza where there will be wine tastings from local restaurants and wineries. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation, the Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau and Speedway Children’s Charities.
