Our 1971 Innocenti Mini Cooper recently went to Eclectic Motorworks for a little R&R, and they have the little car back among the living.
While we expected the worst—the car sat for a couple of years—a new battery and fresh gas cured many of the car’s ills. We took it for a spin during a recent visit to their hometown of Holland, Michigan, and the car feels great. There’s still some sorting to do, but the car is doing well.
This weekend, the car will be getting a little air, as the shop’s Alan Dalman will be showing it at the Mad Dogs & Englishmen’s 1971 Auto Fairee XXIII.
