Is the penultimate example of being a shrewd racer? This 1998 Volvo S70 T5 competed in the 2019 running of the $2000 Challenge, where it won Challenger’s choice as well as first for Copart Best Auction class and second for Stock Block. Now it’ll hit the auction block, where it just might exceed the $2000 barrier.
A 2.3-liter, 20-valve, 5-cylinder engine propels the car fitted with a Mitsubishi 15g turbo.
The custom-fabricated interior includes a Momo quick-release steering wheel and RaceQuip seats and harnesses. Suspension-wise, it uses BC Racing adjustable coil-overs.
