Ferrari 275 GTB/4: “The neatest car an enthusiast could ever own.”

Indeed, that’s what Car & Driver said of this Ferrari 275 GTB/4 when it reviewed the car in its October 1967 issue. Nearly 60 years later, the statement still seems to hold true.

First off, this Ferrari is rare. Only 16 examples of the 275 GTB/4 were bodied in aluminum. It’s one of the few that came from the factory with an outside fuel filler cap.

This example retains its original chassis, engine, gearbox and bodywork.

Find this 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 Alloy by Scaglietti up for auction at RM Sotheby’s. (As a point of reference, Hagerty currently values an aluminum-bodied 275 GTB/4 in No. 1 condition at $6.3 million.)

Neatest??  As Joan Rivers used to say:  "Oh grow up!!"    How about fantastic, stupendous, great, iconic...but "neat?"
