Not a replica or an homage, but one of just 39 genuine Porsche 944 Turbo Cup cars built to compete in the one-make series.
This 944, showing just 10,000 kilometers from new (about 6200 miles), was driven by Canadian pro racer Ron Fellows in the 1990 season.
Fellows drove the Porsche to two third-place finishes–at Mosport and Shannonville–and ended the season in eighth place overall.
The Weissach-built racer retains several original components, including the hood, windshield and magnesium oil pan (the last of which is included in the sale but was removed by a previous owner).
Likewise, the car is accompanied by various spare parts, a copy of the original logbook, period photos and even Fellows’ original steering wheel.
