Not just a rare Porsche race car, but one that secured multiple top-three race and championship finishes.

One of just 51 examples made, this Porsche 911 RSR was campaigned by Mark Sandridge’s Team Salad in the 1994 IMSA GT season, racking up two first-in-class finishes at Sebring and Watkins Glen plus a second-in-class (and fourth overall) finish at Daytona.

In total, those podiums earned the team enough points to win the IMSA GT2 Championship, as well as second in the Exxon Championship and World Porsche Cup.

In 1996, under new ownership, the 911 was fitted with an updated 3.8-liter engine with slide-valve throttle bodies, and later went on to compete in SCCA and Porsche Club of America events.
