Is this MG Midget the least expensive way to do Monterey?

How much to buy a turnkey car that’s eligible for Monterey? Six figures? Even more?

How about entering the big show for just $7500?

For sale via an old friend in the motorsports biz: a 1963 MG Midget that’s been an SCCA G Production racer since new. It has autocross history, too, and comes with lots of spares, including more than a dozen 1098cc engine blocks. Those rains are wrapped around freshly powder-coated steel wheels.

Lindstrand Motorsports refreshed the car four years ago, and it’s been parked in climate-controlled storage since. The car is located in Ormond Beach, Florida.

Price for everything: $7500.
