One of two known survivors: Hollywood-famous Mazda RX-7

While it’s not incorrect to see this as a Mazda RX-7 with an odd body kit, that’s not doing this Hollywood star justice.

This particular Mazda RX-7 was used on-screen during the filming of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift–one of only two known examples prepared for the movie that survived production.

And as for that body kit, it’s a genuine piece of Japanese automotive history: a Fortune wide-body kit from Japanese tuning house Veilside.

Currently residing in the U.K., the RX-7 has covered some 107,000 kilometers (around 66,700 miles) and is noted to be fully road-legal.

Find this 1992 Mazda RX-7 FD Veilside Fortune Coupé for auction from Bonhams with an estimated value of £250,000-£350,000, or approximately$340,000-$480,000.
