Neo classic cars don’t always get the best rap, but that doesn’t mean they are all undesirable–take, for example, the Panther J72.
Combining the pre-war looks of the SS Jaguar 100 with more modern (for the time) power from Jaguar, the J72 proved popular among many celebrities including Elizabeth Taylor, Freddy Mercury, Sammy Davis Jr. and Red Foxx.
This example for sale, one of less than 400 produced, shows just 14,500 miles and features a 4.2-liter inline-six from a Jaguar XJ-6 mated to an automatic gearbox.
