A 289 Cobra Dragonsnake is rare–the factory built just five. Of those handful, only one came with the Stage III quadruple-Weber carburetion system. This is it.
The first owner special ordered the yellow that this Dragonsnake wears to match the Thunderbird tow car he had used at the time.
The Dragonsnake was thoroughly restored using only NOS and original parts, including the tires and service items. The car caught Ford’s attention as the automaker featured it during the 50th Anniversary Cobra celebration at the 2012 Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
