Let’s start going down the list of reasons that make this Porsche 911 GT2 special. First, Porsche built just 194 examples of the GT2. Of those, only 21 came in Guards Red, with this particular GT2 still wearing its original paint.
Only 10 GT2 examples came in left-hand drive. Just two GT2s came with option XD9, which specifies the wheel color matches the body color. This 911 is also built in the lightweight spec, meaning no airbags or power windows.
However, what makes this GT2 truly unique is its Y29 option package. This is the only GT2 that came with it. It includes X54 oval exhaust, X70 engraved aluminum door sills, and X71 aluminum instrument gauges.
