Bentley didn’t offer a two-door version of its Turbo R when new, but that didn’t dissuade Prince Hakeem of Brunei.
Applying money to the problem, the Bentley was subsequently sent to coachbuilder Hooper & Co. and converted into a two-door coupe.
The work involved more than just lopping off two doors, however, as the Bentley was also fitted with a sliding glass sunroof, unique front spoiler, reworked front seats, custom-veneered woodwork and more.
After completion, the Turbo R spent most of its life in Beverly Hills, where it was reportedly only driven once by Prince Hakeem.
Today, the car shows fewer than 10,000 miles on the odometer and is billed as “exceptionally original, with no modifications to its original spec.”

Custom-veneered woodwork I will buy. "Customer veneered" I will not buy, mostly because I highly doubt the little punk who commissioned this beautiful car ever did an honest day's actual work in his life. (I know the mistake came from the seller, not J.A.)

I doubt the Prince custom-veneered the car, either. I think it's safe to say that Hooper did that, otherwise it would have been a much bigger story if the Prince did it himself.
