copied from my ebay ad: (Item 290327896679)

Here is a nice Track Car / HPDE / Hot Street car project. Its a 1999 BMW 540i I picked up last year as a track toy / daily driver. It has the following trick bits:

  • Stock Shocks / Springs (Used to have ground control setup)
  • SS Brake lines w/ poly front control arm bushings
  • Updated rear sway bar
  • 4 point harnesses for Driver & Passenger (OEM belts are there as well)
  • Race Brake pads (and street pads as well)
  • Pirelli Corsa Track tires on 17" wheels (on Car now)

Car has navigation, sunshades, etc. 154K well maintained miles.

Chassis, suspension, interior in near perfect shape. Slight ding / scrape on the RR. Has Spare brake pads, replacement cluster for current dead pixel cluster. Have service records (if I can find them) from previous owners (new radiator, water pump, alternator, tie rods, etc).

NOTE - This is now a rolling chassis. NO Engine or Transmission. Now a perfect candidate for a LS6 swap ;)

Engine, M5 transmission, UUC Shifter available on ebay separately.

More pics at:more pics Please note some items have been sold!

Delivery available (in Madison Heights, MI)

GRM Price $2009, bring your own wheels or buy these 17" w/ track tires for $500

Edit - fixed links, added pix!

The More Pics link.... links back to this thread... ie: no pictures. How about pictures and ebay ad links?

No use for this, but figured those things will help for prospective buyers.

You keep mentioning a 400hp LS1 4 door. This would be much cooler than a Lexus GS300.
