I want to give a former recipient of the spirit of the challenge award a ride down the strip, is this allowed?  I know you can take a (16yo +) passenger on the autocross but how about the quarter mile?

I've done it a couple of times. Think I was just told legal driving age.

I know I saw passengers in a car at the 2017 event. One young lady was singled out for having a tank top and had to go get a T-shirt to meet the clothing rules.

Sorry, track rules. But technically you can still take people for a ride in your car, you just have to make sure it breaks during the run and coasts through the finish.

Just have passengers hunker down in the back seat and pop up after the 60 foot timer. No one will notice.......much.

“Yes mister track official, I know I ran an 11.70 earlier, but this time, because I have a passenger, I’m only going to run a 14.70. I promise.”
