No ICW here, it would have to sail along the gulf coast.

Well yeah, if I somehow managed to buy that I’d definitely be sleeping in it for a long time.

Hmmm somewhere there's an idea floating around about pinching cars from the section of Baltimore's port on the south end of 895, where the benzs, Astons, lambos and Audi's come in and floating then up the patapsco to a waiting chop shop

For some reason Facebook decided they think I need a yacht, or possibly an ex-Navy vessel...so of course I clicked on the ads because a few were stupid-cheap. Then I realized the cost of fuel alone to get it from wherever it is to anywhere near me could be $30-$60 grand!

Yeah, no thanks...

Wouldn't a few flatbed railroad cars be cheaper?

I don’t dare start shopping railroad cars, but I did see an article about different people with their own restored Pullman cars that they pay to get tagged onto freight trains & travel the country by rail. If I built a garage into the end of one of those...

I'm 99% certain I saw that boat running when I was down on the gulf a few months ago. It's faster than you think though I wouldn't want to do any rough water in it. I doubt it could do beach landings or I might consider it. Getting it to Michigan would be tough.

This one just needs a garage bay added at the opposite end.

I gather if one has to question the logistics of traveling the continent in your own pullman train car, one cannot afford it
