Yeah the rules call out exhibition cars for teams whose builds didn't get done/broke/other circumstances.  It's not just sign up for exhibition purposes.  That's not fair to the competitors

Although it'd be cool if Radwood hosts a show on Saturday during concours, so cars like that can show up and have a place.

Nothing is stopping people with minty 80s and 90s cars that are well over budget from going to the Challenge as spectators and parking all of their cars in a big row in the parking lot with the hoods up.

Well, nothing official.  I suspect, based on my own experiences with keeping such hardware running reliably, that may be wishful thinking and very dependent on the skills and patience of the owners.

Fixed for more awesomeness. I mean they were terrible cars but factory Hyundai turbo car in the early 90’s.

I've got Skyways on my 24" cruiser, but the 20" I will bring to Challenge is wearing Mongoose Pro-class hoops laced to high flange Sunshine hubs

Great.  My 97 Jetta GT and my non running 98 Eclipse qualify.  Or is that a good thing?

Completely off topic, but do they make tuffs in modern geometry? I'm having a berkeley of a time finding a set of wheels I want for a pseudo mid build. I found most of the right pieces- Sunday makes a sweet pink frame and I've considered just calling Mike Laird- but NO ONE is making white hoops right now, and tuffs might be a better idea. 

Also, Haro just released the 2020 legacy line. Bashguard bikes for everyone! (At almost challenge prices! )
