The whole system is getting changed. Between rx8 fronts, explorer rear, the E36 M3ty prop valve (i had issues too), and the massive and heavy booster and master combo, we can do better.
Ill be picking angry's brain.
The $300 seems to have been agreed upon already, I would weigh it and value at scrap metal price based upon weight
Without having a drivetrain it would likely be a bit less than $300. (Plus, it has been too long since we have gotten to play what does it weigh w/JG).

No doubt it's currently a pile, and I see nothing wrong with it being OMG get this POS outta here $free. I threw the sell/buy-back rule out there more as a question as to whether this situation fits that rule.

An 8-pack? Damn, you must really hate the seller. I'd rather smell 90 weight than Guinness.
Well, I thought I might like you if we ever met. Until today.
Until today.
He mentions smell. Good chance he's using Guinness wrong. It doesn't go up your nose, good sir. It's a drink.
OK, OK, I'd rather *taste* 90 weight than Guinness.
Michael, for the record, I have a copy of the original budget (but have not looked at it prior to this post).
If I recall properly:
- The car was originally $50 and a cigarette
- The cage materials came in at about $240
- The rust is free...
So your $300 estimate is dead on with what you actually have, even if it is in worse condition than we last saw it.
I do still have some 1.75" tubing from that original cage purchase (@ $2.41/ft) if we need to make any adjustments/fixes to the cage. Let me know what the local SCCA tech would like to see done to it.
I would have said free, but if you have to put a number to it the $300 seems more than fair.

You're entitled to your wrong opinion.
