Am I understanding that the drivetrain is complete and mounted- the only thing the car needs to run is the engine and trans peripheries (wiring, linkage, pedals, etc)?

Drive shaft hooked up?

Rear end finished?

Motor mounts?

Obviously, it will need a lot of detailing, paint, interior, etc. I'm trying to figure out the progress on the mechanics.

I am in the process of fabbing a firewall, it's a bit farther along than in the photos. My plan was to pull the motor-tranny one last time for paint. The clutch and flywheel are out, but were to be put in at the last installation. Drive shaft hooked up? No. A shorter one has to be made up with SC yoke up front and mustang yoke in back. Detailing yes, but you're starting with a solid body. The minimal rust at the rear of each wheel well could be replaced with flares.

Flat towing/using a dolly is legal in NY?
Compared to the stock location, how far back will the shifter be located, once completed? Or will it look like one in a Cobra., ie, pointing fwd.
