NMNA. Needs a transmission (looks like it would be a 4T60-E), but DIRT cheap and doesn't look to be in completely terrible condition. Claims that it's 4WD, but I can find no clear evidence that there was ever a 4WD model of the Century...

Unless some crackpot grafted on the Pontiac 6000 AWD system there is no way this thing is AWD. For $200 I'd rock it as a parts hauler though.
I am going to guess something like, "now that the rear caliper has been changed and no longer sticks, all the wheels drive."
Still the color combo I'd want in one of those. Someone needs to go offer $100, install a bottle of Trans Fix, and commute cheap forevermore.
Ahhh... Rich blue velour interior.

Maybe he meant FWD.
Or he saw "FWD" and thinks, "Four Wheel Drive"...
Except that it states "all wheel drive" in the write-up. Though frankly for $200, that it drives at all is probably impressive...
The ANY late-80's Century is still driving is amazing. The transmission goes on them at 88,000 miles, and the motor at 92,000 miles, the exhaust right after that, then the control module at 98,000 miles, then the bearings, then the windshield, then the tie rods, then the electronics, then the fuel pump, then the A/C, then...well you get the idea. Worst car ever made IMHO. Yes, I suffered both a Celebrity and a Century.
The front clip is definitely one from an older Century. Years ago I bought a `90 Century sedan for $200. It had loads of miles on the old Tech IV, but it kept on going, just not quickly.
