As the current owner of two Merkurs and several previous ones, the wife probably knew what she was doing by taking a hammer to it.

None of the many I've dated(err, I mean converted to damaged goods) were outwardly destructful. I'd venture a guess that this is the work of a brunette, because a blonde would have grabbed the plastic kids hammer instead.

NEWPORT-April Dawn Peters, 31, of 2194 Grandview Way, in Cosby, as arrested Sept. 19, at 10:30 p.m., and charged with aggravated assault after she allegedly, while having sex with a man, hit him on his head at least five times, Sgt. Steve Johnson reported.

William L. Wofford, 51, said he and Peters were in the living room of his residence where he was having sex with Peters. He stated that during sex, Peters picked up a hammer and struck him on the head, the report stated. Neighbors allegedly saw Peters run from Wofford's residence in a "French maid" outfit that had been purchased at Walmart. They also said they saw her fall, scraping her knees.
