Possible ignition box issue?
Those were my go to for the first ten years of my driving career, if it won't start it may be a dual ballot resistor; I always kept an extra one with me. They are(were) really nice cruisers.
Vacuum tubes?
Sure hope he means vacuum advance?
I want that far more than i should. As a mopar guy, i would daily the E36 M3 out of it. And then stuff in a magnum 5.2 and overdrive. And lower on cop car steelies and hubcaps. And.....
Anyone coming east with an empty trailer?

I've always been very attracted to Diplomats and their brethren. Also I find the rod/stroke ratio of 318's VERY appealing. I've just never acted on my feelings, only admired from a distance.
The Interceptors sound great with true duals and 40s, far better than non interceptors. One of mine was set up that way, lowered, white with black steelies and dog dish caps. Then I bought a MI cop car in Blue with a gumball. Good times..
