really wanted one back in the day, until they disappeared
The basic engine is solid but it's the little things that go bad and parts are NLA or very expensive or you have to find used. I had a friend who had one but it cost him quite a bit to keep in on the road. As a track car where you don't care if the AC works, or the seats heat, etc their fine.
The stock manual trans is weak if you boost the engine but a T5 swap is common.
