Chrome bumper, round rear wheel arches, interior doesn't appear shot to E36 M3, new top. If that's the worst of the rust shown w/ bubbling paint prolly not too bad, but look a lot deeper, mighta been repaired a coupla times by now. Not a bad asking price if it's that solid. I'd still offer lower tho. I still wanna own one.
PS "needs carb work" usually means "this thing needs new plugs, wires, and points with correct gap, mechanical advance freed and oiled, and base timing reset, but instead I have dicked with the carbs for two Sundays straight and just made it worse"
Needs carb work means they have no idea how to work on SUs and they have made things worse.
Could also means it has a burned valve.

Still haven't heard back from my text earlier today, I'll try to call maybe after dinner.
Was in contact with seller. He said he only owned the car a month or so, took it in on trade for another project. So had no history.
Then he let me know he sold it today. Oh well.
It was a good deal if it was a good runner after a tune up, if not, there is a 1500 combo of two midgets on Chicago cl right now that is a better deal.
