Vintage Rod Shop is hiring.

Just like the title says.

We're located sunny South Surrey, British Columbia, Canada and we're looking for another mechanic and possibly a skilled trimmer.

We need someone who is familiar with the basics of automotive repair on older vehicles. I have two apprentices right now but I need someone who can step in and get to work without a lot of hand-holding. We're not necessarily looking for someone with a certification but you should be able to handle brake jobs, tune-ups and oil changes on older vehicles without needing outside help.

We specialise in pre-war luxury cars and exotics, you will need to be familiar with points and condenser ignition, carburetors and be able to problem solve. We don't change components, we rebuild, repair or re-manufacture them. We offer a "white glove" service to our customers. We will research the car, purchase, transport, repair or restore as necessary, deliver and maintain the vehicle.

We handle just about anything from 1886 to current exotics, everything from a Nash Ambassador to a Ferrari 275.

We operate out of a fully equipped, 10,000sq/ft facility and all tools are provided. If we don't have it, it might not exist.

We're still looking.

We need a good trimmer, badly. We've got at least 5 cars lined up for upholstery and nobody qualified to do it. We're at the point of setting up our own shop and putting someone in it.
