I recently tried to attach my Turner Motorsports high kick spoiler to my E90 sedan but the tape provided would not adhere. I did a bit of research and found I should be buying 3M VHB to affix my spoiler but there's different kinds. What do I need to buy to ensure my spoiler stays put? It's a DD but I track it so high speed stability is a must.

PFA, thanks!

Best performing method is urethane (Sikaflex) windshield black adhesive after removing wax with bodyshop solvent.

If u want to use tape, yes, 3M VHB but you MUST remove wax then use 3M Primer to both spoiler and trunk lid contact surfaces. It's a liquid that tweaks the surface electrical properties in your favour.

For either method, be warned that it's a one-way street. You will probably pull paint if u try to remove the spoiler.
