The Issue Is, If one has been given the option to delete ones own post, I may take that option and often, as the comments directed towards my topics is not very promising or very positive. I'm aware that everyone has a right to say what they will and it is my fault for not ignoring these comments and simply continued the build. Granted there's still a few bad apples here that continue to mock "MY" build. My objective was to touch someone with my ideas I've had over the last 4 years.. and if I touched at least one person and made them think, then I've done my job. I do not have the talent to rebuild an engine like many of you. I just wanted something different that handles like a sports car. Now that Ford discontinued the van, I can honestly say I have a one of a kind van that handles like a sports car.
So "The Let's Turn a Transit Connect Cargo Into a Sports Van Or Not Build", will continue on my Medium page.
For those of you who actually took an interest and took the time to asked legitimate questions, thank you.
The Moderators, Admins can do what they will with me..
No sir.
The issue is that you are judging a large group of people and assuming they are going to be critical of you or your build. You haven't stuck around long enough to get to know ANYONE.
I've been here for 21 years. There have always been good people who have sometimes made bad comments. Including me. There have also always been incredibly valuable inputs from people. Some of them I like, and some of them I don't. Their input is still valuable, and I have grown to be a better person by listening to their input.
When you come here and deposit some gobbledly goop and expect everyone to applaud you, then delete your comments within a few days or hours you insult everyone in this community.
There are no bad skills. I don't care if you can build an engine. I care if you are prepared to interact with people, be part of a community, and grow with the rest of us.
You are acting like a disrespectful child. I think more of you than that. I respect that you are building what you would like to, and am interested in reading about it. When you delete your posts you steal from me the opportunity to get to know you, and disrespect me and the value that I may be able to contribute into your life.
How about participating in the community and listening to the wealth of information that is here?
If you don't want to be part of this community, you are free to leave. If you'd like to be part of it, you are more than welcome. Your choice. Don't blame anyone else.
