Need to figure out where I can put a battery, there’s a battery box behind the drivers seat but I think it would be better to put on the passenger side

Thinking about one of those 21 pound DEKA batteries. Maybe the trunk? Or I can make an enclosure for inside the passenger compartment but I think I’d rather not

Harness rubs on the seat a little bit but if it wasn’t that far back it seems like it will be too verticals

Kind of concerned, realized the connector kit I have are made out of thin steel that kind of bends easy, should have known. May consider redoing some of the connections, most are behind the switches, those will probably be ok, mainly concerned about the ones feeding power to the relays and such

Think the terminals are ok for the most part, have a couple ring terminals I’ll change out though

Well found out radiator leaks today, really not sure what I’m going to do. Might just have to redo everything I made worst case

the dry sump tank is leaking also but that should be fixable, still a pain with having to take it out

In reply to ctk339 :

Aluminum radiators respond well to 2 part epoxy. Find location of leak by slight pressurization and soapy solution. Bubbles indicate leak area.

Drain completely, spray brake parts cleaner over area. Let dry. Mix up 2 part epoxy and cover leak generously.

I repaired a hole in my radiator that way and it was still holding decades later.

Fuel pump wasn’t working, Turns on the relay with the kit was bad, idk if that’s from me welding with it in the car or what, but I’ll order another.

Oil tank came out decently easy, waiting on gasket, if the gasket fits I’ll use it, if not the existing gasket seems ok and I’ll just add some rtv and put it back together

radiator leak is pretty bad, going to take it to a radiator shop, it seems kinda in the core and hard to get to, I’ll see what they say. C&r has a 31x16 radiator at summit if it doesn’t work, I’ll have to make all new brackets though
