I finally did a thing I've been meaning to do for the last 3 years. This BMW showed up at our used car dealer and I decided to take the plunge. 04 325xiT, 5speed, 160K. Now to see how expensive this project turns out to be.
Things to look into;
Replace the cooling system
Check the oil loss rate once cooling system is in check
Drivers side axle is leaking
Replace Low beam and Fog lights
Possibly look into sunroof issues
Rear diff is leaking

I have an '05. Great cars.
You can buy reman axles from Autozone online with a lifetime warranty for $90 each. Super easy to change out.
Neat car. It's sort of a unicorn, since it has a manual transmission.
