Another awesome trip, bad pics, and I didnt get any actually on the trail.... Ran a local 4x4 trail that runs up to an alpine lake.
My wife didn't think we would finish all the firewood we cut, it was a lot.... We did just before midnight ish
I like having a lot of firewood. Sucks to run out and if there's some left over for the next camper then so be it. I like having some surplus firewood karma.
Definately sucks to run out, helps when there are a few guys with chainsaws and axes. I was kinda impressed we burned it all. It was a big ass pile.
I love my '99 SR5. Glad to see another Runner owner on the board. Looks like it's been able to take you to some pretty captivating views.
Keep it up!

haha yes it is. I have spent too much of my teen days in the bed seats from one of those..... Bolted into a toyota....
From the run our very own Hungary Bill put together!
Look at everyone following Bill around!
Now tent is off for the season, so its new roof rack time! I have been wanting to do this for awhile now.... I ordered steel, but Im wondering if I went to light... Its 1.625" .063 wall tubing. It spans ~5.5-6' between mounting points and will carry ~100lbs.
Thoughts?
All those people following a guy who has no clue where he's going
No idea on the wall-thickness, but I cant wait to see how it turns out. I was thinking I wanted to make a roof rack for my 4-runner as well, so I've been doing some "shopping around"
In reply to Hungary Bill:
I went to pick up the tube, and 063 is WAY too thin. It got bent just shipping it from Everett to Ballard. I have some thicker stuff on order, should be in next week.

I secretly want it.... Another RV I have been drooling on for years just came up for sale as well... I might be in trouble if I can talk my wife into it. Its big $$$ though.
Alright, this might be in the thread, but how did you craft the webbing dog barrier? The earlier T4Rs did not have any mount points that I could find on the C-Pillar.

Yeah no mounting points there on this gen either. I added some. I used these, with pop rivets through the plastic panels.
The webbing one didn't last long sadly...
