Molotow and posca are the jam. I used those to do dusterbd's helmet during challenge last year.

The hardest part of the 1/24 kit is going to be fixing the A pillar, and bodies with crowned sides like the C3 are especially difficult to get opening doors to clear in front. Build it as awild custom and start with a fresh kit for your replica stock build. Check out the main model cars thread, there are some great builds shown there.

I have numerous c3 bodys to steal sections from for the a-pillar t-bar repair. Debating going targa roof anyway. The doors will certainly be a project. I want to avoid the swing out look of diecasts that don't resemble the way a real door opens. I regularly check the model car build thread. To be clear I have a lot of experience with 1:24/25 scale models. Just not a lot in the last few years. Since I have time, I am using these to learn patience, which my older builds always suffered from a lack of.

Thanks. It's far from perfect, but it met my needs to get going again. And I'm really happy with the red paint. Rattle can Rust-Oleum.
