I would recommend an aluminum intake, the factory cast iron weighs a bunch, at least it did on my 428 cj. I like where this is going. The wheels look good on there.

One time I had to pull the heads and intake off the 352 FE in my old '65 F-100 pickup. Leaning over the radiator and yanking that intake out of the engine compartment required all the Wheaties I had for breakfast that day.

The back package tray was destroyed on this car. Had a new one made and I have it put in. Just waiting on the machine work now. Still need barrel clips to finish some emblems and need to finish installing the new headliner.

Need to finish the sail panels in new vinyl as well. Interior is way harder than turning bolts.

I had a candy apple red 1969 Torino Cobra fastback. It was a factory ram air car with a C6. It was a fun car to drive, if you liked going fast straight. Although, sudden stops or turns were not pretty.

My mom had one of those when I was a little kid.  My brother and I loved it because "it sounded like a racecar" when she would get on the gas to merge onto the expressway.  :)

I never appreciated these cars much, but after we got one in for prototyping suspension parts and driving it after, I love these cars. They looks great and you can pack some serious tire under them to deal with some big FE power.

When it comes time to do suspension work, hit me up and I'll see what I can do for you.

In reply to Nessumsar :  It's cool that you guys have started making stuff for big cars like the 1965-1966 Fords or 1959-1964 Chevrolets.  Maybe the next on the list could be 1961-1964 full size Pontiacs?  There's not much out there for these cars in the form of suspension upgrades, I think there's a market for them.

It's funny you mention that Stuart, I had a gentleman call me this morning looking for the same parts. Although I doubt we will venture into the BOP cars on that era.

Norma, let me know when you need something and I will get you setup.

Has anyone done any dash dying before? I need to dye mine but I am kind of lost on what to use.

Motor came back clean with only a .30 bore. New heads should be in Monday and the stroker kit should be in sometime this week!

Rotating assembly showed up today and the shop started working on checking the heads. Turns out the valve seats on the new aluminum heads were way to tight. Throwing a rod out of the hood would not have made me a very happy camper.
