Final drive ratio is going to be dependent on both the R&P and the trans gear. That is my understanding anyway.

IIRC, you can put the gears from the front differential of a first generation Sportage (5.1:1 ?) in a Miata housing.
Is it possible those numbers are for just the housing and not a complete assembly?
If those are a complete assembly then it looks like they might use a planetary assembly in the coupling.
The diff part number on the Jeep’s is the same, but the coupling part number changes depending on whether or not you have the off road crawl ratio.
