I do love me some neons, they are some fun cars and easy to work on. Still have a spare 2.4L longblock sitting in my garage...along with an Dakota and Liberty bellhousing(for those RWD conversions) though I have sold my last 2.4L powered car, I miss it and wish I hadnt sold it.

Are those solid linkages? Pretty sweet...I only recognize them because I used similar linkages for a bell-crank meant for a Weber carb. They are too short for shifter linkages though...what are they for?

In reply to Wicked93gs :

Shift linkage for a Omni, currently 2/4 have them. The stock ones suckkk they are soft rubber that have not held up well.

Also..... Give me a big old mid West OPE

Truck normally doesn't have a squat. We broke a shackle in this pic.

Wheels make me queezy.

You broke a shackle on a 2500? Story? surprise

And it wasn't hauling that little bitty trailer and car, if it was you strained it before hand.

In reply to Bent-Valve :

The rear shackle bolt sheared the nut off. The truck had 600k plus miles on it.

We had a JD 60G on it Saturday, we are pretty sure that did it in. We ended up unhooking trailer and replacing all the leaf spring and shakle bolts in the rear along with one shackle.

I love the black car. I hope you can get it sorted. The second gen R/Ts are a dying breed.
