Great to see the progress, you guys are so much fun to watch build. I also researched teh Speeduino for my Miata project, almost pulled the trigger, but someone had a cheap Hydra on the Turbo Miata board, so I jumped on it as it was the current spec for 1/2 price. What I did not like about the Megasquirt, was that you needed another daughter board for everything (at least for a Miata, so if you wanted knock sensing, alternator control, etc... you had to pay for options so it ended up that you really should just buy a MegaSquirt Pro. The Speeduino seems to be back where Megasquirt was 15 years ago, when it was much more of a open source project. What concerned me was that you will be on your own in regards to building your own basemap , but the Nelsons will find a way!
This thread is amazing. So much awesome work

Yeah. The largest issue seems to be lack of man power.
Actually how I found it is, I have always wanted to do it myself, make an ECU with an Arduino, that is. Before I put a bunch of work into it, I thought, let's make sure no one else has already done the work for me. I was happily surprised. It is a powerful device, but many features are not implemented yet. In a couple of years, it is going to be a powerful platform.

Glad you like it. It is going to be a neat car when it is done.
Day 114 - February 8, 2018
99% done with the speeduino board.
Day 115 - February 9, 2018
Clipped PCM plug off of stock computer. Wired speeduino to stock PCM plug. Made enclosure for computer. I hope to test it on my Studebaker soon.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are LIVE!
Day 116 - February 11, 2018
More welding/prepping under the car. Removed another 10.4 oz. Made brake pedal bracket.
I assume they are spending their time actually working on the car versus posting about it. Cars seem to get done faster that way. :)
