It’s just more time to test & tune for 2019, right?

That's something we have to decide. There are going to be a lot of opportunities between now and then. Those opportunities will involve racing others who do not limit themselves to a $2019 budget. We will definitely be there with something, it just may not be the Nova. Time will tell.

I got one for $11 listed for boats.  If it’s cheaper than where you’re getting them i’ll divulge my sources.

what's that intake? Is it meant to be a carb intake for an LS and you're adding injectors instead?

Its a Victor jr. It is meant to  put a carburetor on an LS.

It comes in two variants. They sell these with the injector bosses drilled and without. The one we had did not have the holes drilled. We plan to run a plate nitrous kit, because we have lots of parts for that.

Did you do anything special to get a better surface finish for the injector orings or is that not really a concern?  I know we'd specify either a 63 or 32 surface finish for that hole and chamfer here at work, but we also do alot of things because "that's what we've done in the past" so it may be overkill for a static oring.  Just curious if that's a legit concern.

I wrapped a deburring tool with scotch bright and ran over each hole with the drill a couple of times. That smoothed them out pretty well.

I've read a bunch about intake runner length and how that affects things, but what I haven't ever read is whether the distance from the throttle body to the start of the runners has an affect on that tuning or not. Is any of that included in what you're doing here?

In reply to mazdeuce - Seth :

Plenum volume is important.....but...... this engine is EFI and will be ram air so it's less important. Plus it's going to be nitrous injected. Throttle location and plenum volume are critical on a carbureted engines.
