I did not refinish the bottom side of the seat pan. I left that as I found it(aside from the change in # of holes), as a testament to the seat's history and whatever it has been thru during its existence.

I did not narrow it, or close up the rib guards. Sitting in it today, I will say it is much less flexy.

Many things which belong in certain places are in those locations. A few things which could go many places still need locations to belong, so we rolled Brad back onto the scales last week. This is with a human in the seat:

Pleasantly surprising to see the front L/R so close. That RR is a bit light though, better put some homeless things on that corner!

We swapped the(very large) MGM battery for one Bob had from his Rio. It fits perfectly, and now we have Kia parts in the mix!

May not be fast enough for this to be required. Trans might not actually be a dirty bomb. Better safe than dead.

Chassis fabricator rule: never create an opening in the chassis too small to fit your whole body thru

Thankfully, I'm like a mouse in the fact that I can squeeze myself just about anyplace I can fit my nose; I'm not gumby for no reason.

Secondary rule also shown: never leave your beer, or your next piece of filler rod, out of arms reach!
