Made some pie cuts to make an intake that way i could get rid of the vaf sensor and run the megasquirt. Tomei cams  were also install

Even though the megasquirt i got is a pnp setup still need it a lil modification to run the vics setup on the intake manifold. Use the output for boost on the board to control the selonoid

Locking timing and playing around with a base map

Wheel alignment wasn't so bad. Alignment on the rear beam was themost difficult using some shims to get the camber and toe were i want it. But it got done. The bwm bottle caps were temporary for the alignment 

The paint and interior needed a detail. Did a quick 3 step polish. And got some decals with mazda 121. Since this were sold in japan as the 121

Decided to make a air dam with brake and radiator duct.

Rada race lab did all the tuning. Tune and cams woke the lil bp. Cant imagine some  01+ miata pistons and milling the head would complement the cams well. Maybe next year

Well thats 2 years of build. Am pretty sure am forgetting some stuff. But thats the basic. She has perform well on track couldnt ask more from a simple and budget build

Thank you guys. TurboFource the festiva looks real clean. And nice find on the oem spoiler... I myself been on a hunt for one for the last 3 years with no luck.

will the KIA tranny bolt to a B3?

Been dealing with the famous BP lifter ticking noise. I have take them apart and clean them with no luck. They only seem to last a couple thousand miles before making noise. This time around putting some new oem lifters hopefully they last

Yes it does. It actually gives you a better options for clutch setup

Hard to believe that this lifters are packed and dated Dec of "97

Checking brakes and suspension before next event. Noticed i never took a picture of the brake ducts.

Reason i went with kia trans. Big difference in the clutch. 

I will have to look for one! Any particular year and model of Kia?

Kia rio 01-05

Past week did a few more thing, getting ready for the last event if the year. More the engine foward inch and half. Also made new fan shroud and now running a spal fan.
