I'm so sorry to hear that, dementia/althiemers is a horrible way to go. (My grand mother has been slowly declining from it for years) if there is anything I can do or if you just need someone to vent to message me.

Sorry to hear about your Dad Skinny, that's a lot to deal with all at once.   Hoping for some better news for you.

Since I'm off work for a bit...

The fender fill panels were seam-sealed and primed on the outside (for jambing with colour-possibly tomorrow) and bedlined on the inside.  My hope is to limit the amount of crud that gets in there. I did drill a large hole in the bottom of the fender brace to help drain everything easier.

Heater assembled.  Not sure I thought out the heater house routing. No, the cowl will not stay black.

It's not yellow (inside joke).

Pops is out of ICU, and in a GI ward. They say he is stable and interacting. This is a FAR cry from Tuesday where the ICU Doc had taken Mrs.Skinny and me into a calm, furnished, ambient-lit room to discuss "end-of-life" options.

Good to hear that skinny dad is doing better. You might be able to turn the heater hose out to the inner fender and just follow it to the front of the bay.

I wasn't happy.

Also, went for a walk today, first time after 5 days of covid. Wow.  Winded real fast. I should have expected that, but I was surprised.

And here, like a week ago:

And widened the brake pedal twice because I can't measure:

In an impulsive move, I decided to spray the underside of the hood engine bay colour instead of body colour.

And to feel productive, I hung the doors. Different camera, which captures the orange better:

Painted the hinges and heater duct/valve/thingie:

Also bought a wack of LS injectors to decap and get flowed - 50% off at Pick-N-Pull this past weekend!

Pops came home from the hospital last night. 25 days stay. Home care started that very evening too (yay). He seems to have aged considerably since before he went in.  We'll see how he is once he gets some strength up along with consistently taking his meds.

Got the rubbers seals on the inner fenders on Monday, and might be installing those tonight.

Dad's back in hospital.

Primed a set of my 18" steelies, and the cowl outers, and the fasteners:

Also picked up a Fuel Injector Cleaner/Tester and have been playing with that, and twenty-four Chevy LS injectors:
