As I am getting a little older I am at the point I do not want to learn how to do everything.  That said, I appreciate how much effort it takes to get an old car to look like this.

The 1982 320 is a solid 20 foot'er.  Yes, it's a 2002 under the cover, a '74.

Before the "magic".

And then, the results.

This one is a 1994 325is M-Teck, with 214,000 miles.  Just a driver.  Best on long drivers at a little over the posted limit.

The story on these is one of "what if", BMW built 150 copies in 12/1993 as a pre run of the USA version of the M3.  Mine is a non numbers matching example.  I have a line on a S50, just incase.

I did not hold a lot of hope for the black 320, but the crew of two were up for the challenge.  I do not know the details of what cutting/polishing fluids they used but it did require multiple steps with a number of machines.

The white 325 had a severe case of micro scratches, their term.  The respray on the front of car is not the best quality and it now looks better than "ok".  The original paint on the balance of the car looks great.

So, with a crew of two working at it for just over 4 hours, $400.  The cost of living in Southern California yes, but now I can maintain them for a couple of years.  I would never gotten the black car back to it's current condition.

Wow.  I def need this done on a car, finding the right person/company seems to be the trick.  How'd you find your guys?  I want a nice job, but I don't need AMMO NYC levels of OCD.

They were a referral, from a very picky friend.  This is not the limit of time and effort they can lavish on your car, but for what my cars are it was plenty.

$200 per car and they came to you.  That’s pretty reasonable in my book, and seems like a steal from what I hear about the cost of everything in SoCal.

Yes that's a steal anywhere.

Not sure if it was a 'two fer,  but he had worked on my now sold '95 NA Miata at the per car rate.

The car is now in Northern California.  This is what a 160,000 mile car can look like if you keep a car cover on it.

Yeah, I need to find the local detailers who rock.

I keep saying I'll learn how to do it myself and I've been saying that for 10 years.

Those cars look awesome.

Ugh embarrassing that I couldn’t find the mental capacity to look at the picture and ascertain that which I sought.
