Not only can it turn it over but that is with 15 feet of battery cable and a battery ground that I didn't even clean the paint off of. We used the same battery on the Q45 so it can turn V8s.

There are multiple ways to receipt things out and some things can have multiple receipts. But that said this amateur will bring a car to the Challenge before you.
Would recommend, in the extreme, cleaning the paint off from under the ground so it doesn't become a hot spot during cranking.

Today was a study in how to spend as much time as possible to do as little as possible.
Goal for today was hook up temp fuel tank.
I got the tank out and had totally forgotten that I had an electric fuel pump on it. I then spent a few minutes reminiscing the RV that donated it's 454. The on/off switch for the fuel tank was stolen from the RV's interior.
Going out to Suprang I start looking for a 12v source to power the fuel pump. That lead me to discover that the ignition lead to the solenoid wasn't held down by a nut.
Not seeing a good source I decided to make my own. I recently picked up some GMT400 power terminals in the junkyard. I mounted one to the firewall.
I decided to use the old positive battery cable to connect the power for the solenoid to the terminal block.
Took a break for lunch and off I went in search for 4 guage ring terminals and the hammer crimper for them.
Home Depot had nothing.
Lowe's had nothing.
Michael told me that he got his at NAPA.
Nearest NAPA had nothing but told me that the downtown one had both.
Hit AutoZone on the way downtown. They had the terminals but no tool.
Get to the downtown NAPA and they say they don't have either.
Call the first NAPA. Guy says downtown doesn't know what they're doing. Puts me on hold while he looks it up.
Few minutes later different guy answers. Explain to him. He tells me that no one has the tool. I internally cuss.
Head to Northern Tool. Look online and Lincoln Electric has a crimper. Shows local store being out. Ask if they have another brand. Dude walks back to the Lincoln Electric area and finds one hidden behind other stuff.
I get home and make my jumper.
It's now raining so I call it a day.
I've played that game before.
You can just use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer and crimp those lugs. Go down the street with the screwdriver, not across the road...
You can also make those lugs with some proper diameter copper tubing. Slide it over the wires till the wires are flush with the end. Smash the end in a vice. Drill a hole through it of the appropriate size to go over your terminal. Then crimp with the screwdriver and hammer. Works a treat!

Yeah I forget who/where but someone today suggested that. I know I was born in SC and all but that was more redneck than I wanted. Plus the Lincoln Electric tool was only $20 and real easy to use.
Now your second suggestion has me thinking. I could save like $2 doing that. Or self trade a bunch of E36 M3 for an W58 trans.

It's funny on GRM. You buy a basic specialized tool that 99.9% of car people don't have and then all the GRMers say oh yeah I got mine here.
I thought you just put it in a vise with an appropriately sized Allen key to create the proper crimp when they're that big.
