I feel like EXPs automatically win Radwood right?

When I was growing up, a kid that lived in the neighborhood got a brand new EXP for his first car. The best part is that his parents bought it before he turned 16 and could get his permit. So for a few weeks 'Big Red' Dave would go out to his driveway, start up his car, back it up 10-15 feet, stop, pull forward 10-15 feet and repeat. It was funny to watch. Not sure how many miles he put on his car in his driveway or whether the clutch survived the ordeal or not.  We all called him 'Big Red' Dave because he carried a duffel bag to/from school every day at a time when everyone else just carried their books or just didn't bring anything home from school. A couple of the cool trendsetter kids may have transitioned to backpacks by then, but the old duffel bag with the school logo (We were the Big Reds) on it was definitely out of style. Anyway, long story short is that I cannot hear about, see, read about or think about an EXP without thinking of Big Red Dave.

I first drove a stick shift in a first year EXP. It was my brother in laws.

They were actually pretty miserable cars. Sure it seemed cool at the time but I have no interest in going back to vehicles that rudimentary.

This is also the era where Ford moved the horn. No longer in the center of the wheel but rather you pushed in on the end of the turn signal stalk.

Hard to believe that when this was new it shared a showroom with the Thunderbird Turbo Coupe.

I cannot imagine giving even half that much money for an EXP.
